Events

Besides our programs, we also host events throughout the year. These gatherings have different focuses. Some are social to promote fellowship and fun among members. Some are for fundraising to keep our programs possible. Some are informative meetings. Additionally, all these events are a great way to share awareness of the work of Christ Child Society of Dallas-Forth Worth. Some of our strictly social events have included Mardi Gras get togethers, cocktails and appetizers at Marty B's, bowling at Main Event. We are always open to fun events our members want to do.

 We host quarterly meetings to share information with our members. We often have guest speakers from some of the agencies we serve. We always include food and fellowship as well. 

We are able to fund our various programs through a variety of fundraisers.  We are always accepting in-kind donations for our programs (for more details see our Program pages) as well as financial contributions.

In the spring, we host a baby shower. We have a wonderful time with lots of goodies made by our members. It is open to anyone who wishes to attend. All the baby gifts received are used in our Layettes which are supplied to PediPlace and Low Birth Rate Center, as well as to the Gabriel Project. 

In October, we host a Bake Sale at St Philip Catholic Church. Parishioners love the goodies and we are so grateful for their generous financial support.  

Each year on the First Tuesday in December, Fish City Grill generously shares a portion of their profits with our organization. We encourage everyone to enjoy their great food that day while helping us out as well!

Every other year we host a dinner celebration that offers live music and entertainment, opportunity raffles and a lot of fun! Our Christ Child galas have been a tremendous success and proven to be our major fundraiser!
