About Us

In response to the desire to make an impact in the community, the Christ Child Society of Dallas-Fort Worth was incorporated in the State of Texas in April 2018 and received its 501c3 status in November 2018.  We are a fully chartered chapter of the National Christ Child Society (www.nationalchristchild.org); additionally, we are an affinity ministry of St. Philip the Apostle in Flower Mound, and an approved apostolate of the Diocese of Fort Worth.

About Christ Child Society

Founded in 1887 by Mary Virginia Merrick in Washington, D.C., Christ Child Society volunteers have been driven by faith, love, and a desire to make a difference. CCS creates localized programs or partner with others to build better communities. Today, over 5,500 members from 45 chapters volunteer nearly 400,000 hours and serve more than 75,000 children and their families annually.

According to the National Center for Child Poverty, about 15 million children in the United States – 21% of all children – live in families with incomes below the federal poverty threshold. Christ Child Society believes in challenging poverty, one child at a time.
